Q: We are interested in a no-obligation outdoor water use analysis, what will you need from us?
A: For HydroSense to prepare a proper consumption report, we would need a minimum of the last 12 consecutive water utility bills. If you have more water bills, the better we can analyse your water use trends. We also need access to the controller(s) and the irrigation equipment. Access to the system’s mechanical provisions/equipment and the point of connection is also required.
Q: How can HydroSense save my landscape water?
A: The first thing HydroSense does is establish and identify exactly what your specific water issues are, and then formulate a custom strategy and solution aimed at reducing your consumption. We conduct a thorough evaluation and visual inspection of all the irrigation equipment followed by interviews with those who are directly involved with the systems operation and maintenance. Once HydroSense has all of the needed data, we compile and establish a practical path to water reduction, including equipment retrofits, upgrades, schedule recommendations and anything else which will save your water use.
Q: How much water can I expect to save?
A: Clients who have called on us for an analysis generally save between 30-50% of their outdoor water use.
Q: How much does it cost to retain your services?
A: Whether you are calling us for a traditional irrigation audit, or to establish professional AutoCAD designs, or to reduce your current water consumption footprint we will always provide you with a written proposal outlining the scope of work we are proposing, the materials required and those costs, and our fees to do the work. While all sites and projects are unique and have many different requirements, we can guarantee that your ongoing savings realized through reduced water use will be much more than the cost of our services. Q: Does HydroSense install new irrigation systems?
A: While we perform a wide range of upgrade services to existing irrigation systems, we do not install brand new systems.
Q: Can an irrigation system have a smart controller or interface and be monitored remotely at the same time?
A: In a word, absolutely! Not only can you save water with an intuitive smart irrigation solution, we can provide all the management of your sites from our command centre, watching out for problems or malfunctions and reacting immediately to those issues.

A: Yes, HydroSense has established relationships with a number of contractors. We provide them with a service which separates them from their competition. Our smart and intuitive irrigation solutions save their clients water, and money, and makes them look great in their client’s eyes! We work directly with our contractors, not their clients so there are no conflicting interests.
