Our remote irrigation system management and monitoring service is aimed at reducing the maintenance costs of property managers and facility superintendents who are faced with increasing labour and resource costs to maintain their irrigation systems. With a dedicated manager assigned to your irrigation system operation, we have the ability to manage operations while your forces tend to other priorities.
Our service provides clients with daily activity summary reports, along with real consumption volumes, and any problematic alarm issues that can be resolved from one location. Service contractors can be dispatched immediately to tend to problematic issues. Ideal solutions for sports park managers, college or university campuses or large-scale corporate headquarters.
Our office based computer network controls, communicates, and manages several irrigation systems on behalf of our clients who choose to outsource their irrigation operations. Our management protocols reduce the maintenance burdens of our clients by controlling all operations from one location and reacting to any issues in the field immediately. We also implement central systems for our clients and provide remote support to their daily operations. Our experience with various communication options provides clients with the foundation required to implement these advanced irrigation systems.
Irrigation central control enables the programming, monitoring, and operation of multiple irrigation systems from one location. These advanced systems are designed to provide command and control over a single site or a set of sites from a single computer. Robust software platforms allows the water manager to set up programming to automatically control satellite controllers or two-wire decoders which operate the irrigation valves. It can monitor and adapt system operation and irrigation run times in response to conditions in the system or surrounding area, such as weather conditions, flow data, or pipe breaks. The system will also provide historical data to allow analysis and reporting of what ran when, how much water was used, and report on field problems.
Intuitive system management can ultimately result in water savings of 25-45% per year, depending on current management practices. As an additional source of savings, pipeline breaks are automatically detected and isolated, preventing excessive water loss.
By managing all irrigation programming from a PC, the user no longer needs to travel to each site to make adjustments at each controller. System shut-downs for maintenance occur quickly, allowing more effective use of time.
The system monitors current hydraulic conditions and takes action to prevent washout in the event of pipeline breaks. Detection and isolation of breaks occurs in minutes instead of hours.
The user no longer has to drive around to all the controllers to make programming changes.
